I took the boys to the Bounce House a couple of weeks ago, & again on M.L.K.Day . This was Tages first experience . He was so frightened at first ,until he reached the bottom .Then the Biggest Grin came with a little chuckle. After that first slide he was off to Never Land ! So excited he had a smile on his face for 2 hrs .I'm sure his cheeks and but Hurt when we were done playing . Ive never seen Tage play that Hard before .That's why I have so many pictures of him because he was just so dang cute to watch .

Tage had his 2nd post operation check up today . Everything looks Amazing . We are pleased with how well things have turned out . Excited that there wont be anymore surgeries in his near future.

So as you know Tage had his surgery on the 2nd of December. So we weren't able to attend alot of fun Christmas Activity's this year because they seemed to all have been planned the first week of December. Luckily Tage was feeling much better the following weekend so we could attend our ward Christmas Party. It was super cute . Most of the people in our ward are farmers or Firefighters it seems. Our Bishop is no exception. He is a cotton farmer. So the ward had a party at his barn . We had a cotton Hay ride, and smoked BBQ Pork Sanchwiches. The children from the primary sang, and Santa paid a visit . It was a well planned fun cold evening ! Yes it gets extremely cold in Arizona !!! The cotton ride is much more fun and exciting then a hay Ride I think .I love our ward .

When we got home I snapped these pics of my Kiddos by our tree .We had put up the tree on the first of December but had not taken a pic of them by it yet . Aren't they the cutest kids !!!

My little Tage has what you call a wally- eye .The Medical term is Strabimus Extopia !!!!! I started noticing his eyes not aligning straight . One eye would wonder off while the other was straight . In some cases when he was looking at me or someone ,it really looked like he was looking at someone behind the subject.
At first it was just me that was seeing it, and then slowly everyone started to notice it . So I took him to a pediatric eye specialist . He looked at his eyes for 3 min and says " yep you did good mama , He has an eye problem called Strabimus Extopia , and surgery will fix it . What ???? I wasn't expecting to hear that . I was thinking like an eye patch or glasses, but not that !

This is what it looks like ....(The one on the bottom.)
The symptoms are :
*Eyes that look misaligned
*Eyes that do not appear to go together
*Frequent blinking and squinting especially in sunlight .
*Tilting the head to look at things
*Faulty depth perception
*Double vision

Because of all this they aren't very good with their hand eye coordination ( moder skills ) !!! When he told me this it was like ...ahhhhhh THIS MAKES TOTAL SENSE ... from birth he would do the blinking thing all the time everyday and just bust out in a cry .... Then heaven for bid we go in the sun !!!! Pure melt down !!! I also have mention before that he is so slow to do things like pick up Cheerios with his fingers , crawl , and he is 15 months and not walking ....So I knew this was a must

The day of the surgery I expected him to come out of the surgery with Big Black Goggles on . Also all the nurses even the Doctor told me to expect him to be crying Hysterically when he comes out . Have his favorite drink ready . Especially because he has been up sense 4 am and hasn't eaten or had anything to drink yet . Neither did we encounter. He was calm and he sleeped the entire day . The next two days however he cryed every time he opened his eyes. And for the last 2 1/2 weeks his eyes have been blood shot . Today he is doing wonderful . He has more confidence in himself . He even looks at us differently . He also has started to take steps towards walking permanently. Were happy with how things have turned out and we hope he doesn't have to repeat the surgery here in the near future.

November 17-21 I left Eddie and the boys Home, While I went and Played with my girlfriends from Beauty School. I love these girls . We had a lot of fun . I feel lucky to have a Husband who lets me have a life outside of mommy world . I enjoyed my time away with my life time friends . As you can see Sea World was a highlight of the trip . We had so much fun . It wasn't crowded and even though the the weather was crappy , it was a relaxing day . The animals were so playful and talkative , I loved it ! We are going to try and get together every year .....

I am now a Soccer Mom ......AHHH!!! It was super exciting & exhausting . My favorite is watching all the little ones warm up and do stretches and Jumping jacks etc. These little bodies doing grown up stretches just is the cutest thing ever! Jayden is actually pretty good at soccer .Although I think he wants to be a goalie . Towards the end of the season he just wanted to stand by the net and block the balls from getting in . We payed 75$ to put him in the team . I would say it was well worth it 3 months of practice on Monday nights and games on Saturdays Plus the uniform. It was money well spent and we are defiantly signing him up next year.

Tage loves Bath time. Evey single time he hears that water turn on he goes crazy ! I cant believe he is 14 months and already has a vocabulary . BUT HE WONT WALK !!!! Just in this last several weeks he has started talking . His first words were HELP ME !

TRICK OR TREAT SMELL MY FEET GIVE ME SOMETHING GOOD TO EAT IF YOU DON'T I DON'T CARE ALL PULL DOWN YOUR UNDERWEAR ! Jayden sang that song all day on Monday. He was so into Halloween this year more then last year ! He worked hard to get the Candy he got . He told Eddie and I he wasn't done until he had the entire bag full of candy . He is such a silly boy !!! We do have a lot of candy though . I'm sick of fighting with Jayden about candy . All day long he wants candy !! We had a good Halloween . We had our ward party on Friday and then on Monday was Halloween . Little Zan man,Devin and Lisette, and my parents came over to go Trick Or Treating in my neighborhood. I was surprised that a lot of houses had their lights on this year . It was great ! One house turned their Garage into a Hunted House . It was actually pretty scary . When we walked trough it Jayden was terrified...hahaha !!! Then after words he was like " Mom that house is pretty scary! I kinda wanna go back in! I do but I don't , You know what I mean ?!" Lol seriously the stuff he says sometimes just cracks me up . We were going to be lots of things this year for Halloween . But we ended up with a circus theme. I was a fortune teller, and my boys were the to clowns . Jayden loved being a mime . Sense Halloween he has been watching Mimes on You tube . He has a whole routine down now . He is so proud !! I love my boys!

The boys and I had a lot of fun at our Local Pumpkin Patch .
We went on lots of rides . The best ride, and the one the kids seem to have enjoyed the most was the Spooky Hay ride . We got really dirty at the Petting Zoo. All the animals were asleep . So they were friendly .Which worked out cause Tage pulls Hair! lol ..The kids had a great time. But I will say . When Ive taken Jayden in years past it was easier to get around and enjoy him going on the rides .Tage can't do any ride except the Hay ride and the train ride . So its a lot harder to to activities like this By myself with two kids in different stages . Tage would get so mad when we waited in line and only Jayden got to go on the ride. He thinks he is so big in his mind . He wants to do everything Jayden does . Its cute , Sometimes !

" MOM, some day I am going to be a SUPERHERO" -Jayden Spilsbury

     It was Jaydens Golden Birthday ! He was turning 4 years old on the 4th ! So of course I had to make it extra special for him ! Since he loves superheros, that's what we did . A superhero party ! Jayden loved every minute of this party . He helped plan it . He even picked out what he wanted everyone to eat . The kid loves Birthdays . We celebrate everyone of my Family members birthdays that live  here in Arizona . With each one he trys to make there day special .Even though he secretly envies them . He waited very patiently for his birthday . He talked about it all year long ! No joking , everyday he asked me " is it my Birthday yet"?
That's how I know he had a good time . He hasn't mentioned his birthday or when its his turn ! I have heard nothing sense we had the party !!! Kinda like the saying " Its not over till the FAT lady sings !!! Well, it ain't over till the SUPERHERO , blows out the candles!!  ( haha)
Jayden at age 4 ! Hhmmm..... I really could be here all day . The kid is exhausting, just because he doesn't stop talking but the things he says sometimes are Hilarious ! He has a mouth let me tell ya!
I need to be better at writing the funny ones down. Here are a few lately that I can remember !

" I am just trying to help you . So you will stop complaining about the things I do .

" Hey Mom, if you see a Pizza Place let me know ? Cause I am starving .

  I was begging Jayden to finish his food ! After the fourth thime of getting after him ... He yells
" OK, Baby girl !

" I screamed BLOODY MURDER , with an ( S) on it !
                        to explain on this one ... He has trouble with his S's . Like the word smell ...to him its FMELL ! We try to correct him by explaining that smell starts with an S! SSS... SNAKE .....SSS..Smell ! Anyway that's where he got that one !

" Mom, Dad , If I buy you guys a Christmas gift . You have to buy me one its only Fair !

I put Jayden in time out one day and he says " Mom , why do you do this to me . I do lots of stuff for you . I go get diapers , and I brush my teeth .

" Jayden woke up the other morning and said " I'm so over having a girlfriend !

I was busy doing something and Jayden was Hollering at me to wipe his butt ! I told him in just a minute I will be there... Like three times I told him that ! He says " UGH,, Mom I don't have time for this !

      At four , he remembers everything you say or do . He will call you out on it . You cant make promises you don't intend to keep . He loves primary . His favorite song is Follow the Prophet ! I enjoy going to pick him up on Sundays .Just because he is so egar to tell me all the things he learned . It really warms my heart . And I am immediately grateful for the teachers that teach my son every Sunday! I'd say the hardest part of raising Jayden at four is the fact that he is driven , in patient , stubborn , and he knows what he wants ! Don't tell him your going to take him to the store and let him pick out whatever he wants . Cause you will go on a wild goose chase to a million stores to find exactly what he was looking for! He hates to wear underwear ! I could go on and On about that challenge of mine . Ive tried every tactic discipline you can think of .He will work around it to get his way ! THE KID JUST HATES WEARING UNDERWEAR ! It is not just his underwear he has a problem with the way all clothes touch his body .Shoes, socks, shirts, pants. It takes forever to get him ready .

I do love him ! lol

Did I mention we sold little Louie ! Apparently were not dog people . We lost him twice !! One of which was for several hours . We eventually found him at the neighbors next door ( haha) .He chewed up my Dyson cord !!! If any of you don't know what that is ! Well its a Vacuum that I use everyday ! I was so mad about that one. It was just to expensive and extra stuff I didn't want to dill with on top of everything else. Plus who was going to watch him all of September basically cause we were gone on the cruise and such .So we sold him and that was that !!! It was for the best ! Every time we miss him we remind ourselves how hard it was to take care of him .

Now that I have September all caught up .I'm finally onto things that are Happening in October !!!

We had a Fabulous time in Mexico . I love cruises !They are so fun ! This was planned by my Dad at first, for my mothers 50th Birthday . But it was getting to hard to keep it a secret from here that we were all going . It was also Eddie and I 5 year Anniversary . So we wanted to go that much more . To get away with each other without the kids. It was also our second cruise together . The last one was on our Honeymoon . Its just Fun, Fun, Fun !I love my Husband ! It really just gets better and better every year. We have a strong solid relationship .That started out as friends and it just has grown into something more Beautiful. I love life with him ! We did a lot on our cruise . The picture over load says it all . Our Highlights were :

In Cabo San Lucas -
Snorkeling - we went on a 2 hour boat ride to the location. An hour there and an Hour back. On that ride we were feed . And entertained by the guys that were taking us to the location. One of which creeped me out because he was sweet on me. He was telling me that he hates Eddie because he has me ! He kept wanting to dance with me . I was lucky enough to escape the Lap dance. He gave one to Ashlee instead. It was Hilarious !!!! We will never forget that moment!!!!

Shopping - The people of Mexico would say crazy things to you just to get you in to there shops and get a buy out of you . But one of my favorite sayings from this one guy was " All Reap you OFF for less !" Cause, Honestly all the stuff there at those souvenir shops are just a bunch of junk that there selling . And the prices for that junk was just outrageous. So that statement was so true . It made me laugh so hard when he said that to me .

Scooter Riding - we rented scooters and drove around town to check out how people live . It was also a faster cheaper way to get around and probably the most Dangerous way as well. We ate at to different taco places . One in particular had the best Guacamole sauce that I am craving right now . I wanna get my hands on that recipe !!!

Also one thing all remember is how Hot it was . It was unbearable at times. It was both kinds of Hot ! Burning on your Skin ,like your on Fire Hot . And the sweat ,Humid ,sticky Kinda Hot . The two combined together is just Awful . What made it worse is that there is no Air conditioning anywhere! So you cant walk around to the shops . That's why we rented the scooters and almost killed are selves . It was worth not having to walk around in the heat. I kept seeing people who brought there kids on the ship and seeing them walk around in Cabo . The kids faces were so red and I just was so grateful we didn't bring ours . It would have been miserable .

Puerto Vallarta -
We spent our entire Day on an Amazing Trip Zip lining ! This was a fun experience to do with the Family . Some of my Family members conquered there fears . It was tiring , thrill seeking Adventure that ended in a relaxing Mule ride in the pouring rain . We ended with some good food up in the mountain as it was raining . It was just a Beautiful experience.

Boat -
There is so much I could say about being on the Boat . The all you can eat food. There are just to many choices you can chose from .So much so that Eddie ordered room service like every night . 7 different kinds of plates . He would take one bite of each just to Taste it all. So everyone in the Hall would see all the room service plates outside our room . It was embarrassing . There are starving people on Airplanes .Lol it was a good laugh for everyone !!! The shows we saw . My mother got picked to be Madonna on the last night . That was fun to see her up on stage . We took dance classes , & did Karaoke . The all you can eat Ice cream .

We had a wonderful time and all of us cant wait to go again .

Lauren & Jason & J-Pop ( jay ) & I all drove down to Vegas for the weekend . We stayed in this Awesome suite at the Flamingo . Oceans Eleven style!!! Our drive down was so fun with J-Pop in the car .Lauren and I sang spice girls for him....Lol I don't think he realized what he got into at the moment . We told embarrassing stores and helped him a little with his book . We had a fabulous time in Vegas . We saw the DONNY & MARIE show ,The Blue Man Show , and Phantom of the Opera . Amazing, Amazing, Amazing !!!I wasn't able to take pictures of any of the shows because they do not allow you to bring your camera in . The Donny & Marie show was great . Marie is just Beautiful and their voices are Just blissful to listen to like Angels singing. The blue man show was very interesting , Hilarious , and a little weird , but super fun !! Lauren got picked to go on stage . It was so funny . I really wished we had a camera at that moment . The Phantom was also Amazing ! Their props were so spectacular. Definitely all 3 shows are a MUST SEE !!!!

I have been a slacker on all things Blogging. I basically skipped all of September . August - October are very busy months for us every year. But this year seems extra crazy !I don't really feel like doing a post for every fun , silly, milestone , event that happened . So I will try and summarize and just post about the huge things that happened . Just to get caught up.For one thing Eddie and I went on a cruise for a week to Mexico in Sept . We had to Drive the boys up to Utah before hand so that Grandma and Grandpa Spilsbury could take care of them while we were gone . I had never left Tage before so I had major anxiety about leaving him for an entire week . Lauren and Jason came up with me to Utah to help me with the boys on the 12 hour trek up to Utah. The boys did pretty good the first six hours . The last six hours well, lets just say we were ALL ready to be done with the drive. All in all the week we left them with Grandma and Grandpa Spilsbury , and the drive up there and back went well . The boys had a good time . More then anything I think Eddies parents enjoyed the time they had with the boys .

We had a good time celebrating Tages birthday . Although it was super Hot outside. Like a heat warning that day . Even the pool didn't help . So hot that I had to take down food because they were melting . Also some people should up when we we ready to go . Throwing parties are never fun for the hostess.

Till we meet again ...Eunice Illenee Skaggs !
Enuice was my grandmothers Older sister. My mothers ant . So that makes her my Great Ant.
For the past 5 years my mother has taken her into her home and has taken care of her. I'm glad we got to know her. She is playful, smart , stubborn ,and very bossy ! She will be missed here, but I know she is partying it up in Heaven . I can't even imagine what it would be like or feel like to reunite with all the loved ones who have gone on before you . Tage is 10 months and I am really enjoying this stage with him.

He learned to give high fives and he thinks its just the best thing ever.

He doesn't care to walk at all .
He walks around for like a sec on his little walker.But I think he just prefers to crawl.He is the type that just does what feels comfortable.

He is starting to show signs of maybe saying something besides momma, Dada. The other day we were counting to 3 and I swear he kept saying 3....He also trys to sing the ABC song cause well stop and he keeps going in gibberish but with the same tune. So its around the corner ,I can just feel it .

The kid loves to dance . Anytime the music is on , or when someone is singing a little tune. He just moves his whole body and gets going .It so cute to watch him . Even in sacrament meeting he dances to every song .Even the reverent ones...

He loves to do what I do . If I blow air he blows air . If I make a smack noise with my mouth he follows.

He fights over toys .

He loves his car seat . Sometimes we strap him in there cause it calms him right down . It the best drug !!! Which is what I needed after going though what I went through with Jayden ( he hated it ...).

and last new stat is .....He is getting tooth 11. 12 .13. can we say Ouch .....!

A week or so ago I took Jayden to the Mesa Art Museum of Natural History . We watched a Dinosaur movie and read about Dinosaurs .We went out for some Lunch and then to the Museum we went. He asked all sorts of questions . I could tell he really was interested and excited . He was just so fascinated. It was also an extremely Hot day . So this was the perfect indoor activity .

After the fourth we had a surprise visit from Nana & Papi Spilsbury . They brought a long with them Jayden & Tage's second cousins from Honduras .Although Jayden didn't speak their language they were still able to communicate and have a great time.Not one person wanted me to take there picture so this was all I got from the weekend on my camera. We had a great time taking them to the lake .I hope they did too.

We have had Louie a whole TWO weeks now ... It's a lot harder and more expensive then you think to take care of a dog . I think we our approaching 500$ something ..My mother has babysat him three times. We also forgot about him once.NOT so sure we are good pet owners. Since having Louie our whole focus has been for Louie to go outside. So now Jayden thinks he should pee outside too. And that in of itself is driving me nuts. And Tage trys to eat Louie's food and plays with his water every time I put Tage on the floor ....THAT'S WHERE HE GOES..... The boys just love him ..... ( I am secretly dieing , but I know it will get easier with time ) . We went to get his shots and Jayden cried like a baby for him . He was so sad for Louie..... which lets me know he really cares for him .....I mean how many times has he seen Tage get his shots .....Yeah , he never cried for Tage...If it just gets to hard , and Eddie and I want to sell him . Jayden will be so sad........

Jayden has started T- ball. I must say that he is actually really good. He runs really fast ,has great form when hitting the ball. He is going to be a very athletic well rounded kid .He likes everything and is good at everything .

Went to my parents on the 4th of July for a barbecue .It was delicious to the taste. We later headed out to Chandler for some fireworks. It was Jayden and Tage's first time ever seeing the fireworks . I don't even think they blinked for a second. Jayden however will always remember this 4th of July particularly because of a dramatic experience he had. While at my parents .Eddie,Ashlee,Tage ,and Jayden were outside setting off little fireworks of there own. One of my mothers cousins came over with her kids. They went outside to join in on the fun .One of the boys grabbed a sparkler right out of Jaydens hands.The sparkler ended up on Jaydens neck and gave him a really nasty burn. He was screaming so loud. Like a death scream . Cant really blame him I bet it hurt really bad. I didn't really take much pictures .I kinda wasn't in the mood. It was a great day otherwise.

Meet Louie,
He is a Malti Poo breed just 6 weeks old and he is Family now.To be honest I thought ~~I would never own a dog~~ . Which is still true I'm in denial. So you just might see another post about the dog needing a new good home. Its day one of having the dog and I am exhausted. Following the him around making sure it goes outside looking for the signs to prevent any accidents.Well its just exhausting.He is doing pretty well and, has kinda got the hang of it. I also have two other boys .Jayden who is talking my ear off , Tage who is into everything , And Louie being potty trained. I'm defiantly in for it and, I'm Just not sure I want to be...But Eddie,Jayden ,Tage just love Louie to death they are so attached. So for now He is ours .... We shall see how the whole family feels in a month about the dog .The question we will ask ourselves in a month is if we are dog people, or just dog lovers???>

We went to the Lake a couple of weekends ago for my sisters Birthday. We had a great time but it was very exhausting.Jayden went tubing for his first time and he loved it .We had a couple of injuries with Ashlee's friends. The boat got the rope stuck up in the jet. And on the way home Ashlee's friends car broke down. So that's what I meant by exhausting . But, it was still fun .Jayden also has a new friend Kingston . Love this little guy so very much.

I cant believe how old he is getting. He just thinks he is so big. He is talking much more and demanding more. He asks BUT WHY ? for everything now.

He bargains with us . Gives us an ultimatum.Eddie and I think he is going to make a great sales men. Because I hate to say it but sometimes he wins.

Crazy things out of his mouth lately :

He was walking out of the house with Dad and he says "peace out Women."

He has been a little difficult lately when it comes to food. One day after I begged him to eat He says " Geez Mom your pissing me off, calm down your to fussy for me".

I tripped and fell the other day and broke my toe. Instead of him coming to see if I was OK he says " You should of looked where you were going .

He tells everyone he is 4 ...and 5 sometimes...AND WHEN THEY QUESTION HIM ..he gets mad and says "Mom right I'm 4 OR 5 ?

9 months old now..Craziness that Tage is 9 months . I am actually really sad about it. Everyday I just stare at him and give him extra kisses and hugs because I know that my Baby stage is slowly leaving .He has not been sick now for a sold month . It feels oh so good . I have a happy baby who has done all sorts of new things this month.First it was clapping,then crawling, waving Bye Bye, and is taking a sippy cup and even holding it all on his own . He is back to sleeping through the night again and eating all sold foods .He now is 19 pounds and has 8 teeth.I love my HAPPY LITTLE BABY BOY ......

We got invited to go camping with my Brother and a couple of other Family's . You know Eddie is not a fan of camping .So I was hesitant to ask , but he said that it would be fun. So we jumped in the car and headed up to or High Country to go camping. We really did have a great time. Jayden loved being a boy and getting all dirty .We don't own a tent .So we slept inside our car . Which turned out to be really nice.It was cold that night so we stayed warm in our car .Plus we didn't hear all the babies that came waking up in their tents one by one . I was so surprised that both Jayden and Tage liked it that I think it a new fun activity for the Family.

I am sensing that he is a bit of a perfectionist .Considering the fact that it took him so long to do this step. I really thought he wouldn't crawl at all . That he would skip this step and go straight to walking . Its as if he didn't want to army crawl.If he was going to crawl he was going to do it the right way the first time. He is very cautious crawler. He doesn't take off exploring . He stays put and gets what he needs. I am so excited for this new phase .

There is nothing like fresh out of the Bath clean little boys.

Mmmm.... I could just squeeze the poop out of them .Although it is really getting annoying having to bath them separately because of Jaydens bumps that he got back in November. There still there.. ( can you sense the frustration ) They looked so good after our trip to Florida . His skin was hydrated and almost all of them were gone . It was because of the salt water and sand . Now that were back in AZ they look worse . We have spent 300$ now trying to get rid of them . I feel like it would be cheaper to spend the summer on the Beach . :)

Trying to get Tage to learn to pick up food and feed himself.You would think this would be an easy concept for Tage or any baby because they pick up everything and it goes straight to the mouth.But for some reason he is having a hard time. Ive put like Cheerios on the highchair trey while I do dishes or little things like that .But they all end up on the floor because he cant seem to gram them very well and they fall out of his hand . So I tried a cracker because its bigger and easier to grab . He loved it but shoved to much in his mouth at once so he ended up chocking . But he loved the cracker .Its his new favorite snack .He will eventually get the hang of it I'm sure. I think I've come to terms with the fact that Tage is a little slow in the motor skill department.

We have been home two weeks now from our vacation in Florida and Jayden still is talking about how much fun he had .Also, we are finally all feeling better .Thank goodness for that .This year there has been way to many days of someone not feeling well.I also got Tages Doctor to give me a referal to go see an Ear,Nose,and throut specialist .We are way excited for that. Hoping we get a good report and move on from this Chapter in Tages life. I feel like he has been sick so much that it actually has held him back a little in the learning department.Anyway it's good to be home. Excited for the summer fun to begin.

Disney was absolutely perfection. We were there all 12 hours . The weather was amazing . I actually was cold some of the time from the breeze. I guess you could say we never broke a sweat. The weather forecast said it was going to rain . So my friend Teya brought some ponchos for us just in case. Eddie and I spent like 30 bucks on Fans to keep cool. We wanted to be prepared because Sea world was kinda a dozie as far as the weather.Thankfully we didn't need any of that . Except Tage enjoyed playing with the Fan.I think that Jaydens favorite part was the parades.He loved them.It was a Wonderful day . A memory we won't forget.

Because we are in Florida on my Birthday there was only one thing I wanted to do . That was go to the beach . I have great memories as a kid at the beach . We use to get up real early and watch the sunrise and have breakfast on the Beach and we stay there all day. I love the beach .We had a great day .Jayden loved the water he had no fear. I was so impressed how well he handled the boogie board.This was his second time at the beach and the first time he went to the beach he played mostly in the sand. So when he got the boogie board and headed to the water it was like he had been doing it all his life.The further in the water the better.The boys went fishing but had no luck.Tage took a long nap in the shade.I love that I have that type of baby . He loves his naps.It was a great Birthday .

Jayden loves animals and lately its been Gators & sharks. So Eddie and I were way excited to take him to Gatorland down in Orlando. We both enjoyed Gatorland as a kid so we knew Jayden would too.But we are up in St.Augustine at the moment with Uncle Omar and Ant Kate.So we decided to checkout the Gator Farm up here in St. Augustine. I would say that this is an up scale version of Gaterland.It was very clean and more of a natural habitat for the animals.They also had a zip lining course above the whole park in the trees. Which Kate and I decided that we wanted to check it out. It was pretty hard core course. Ive never been zip lining before so I was super excited. Except for the fact that It was above the park . And if I fell there is no guarantee that I wont get an arm and a leg chop off by an Alligator......Yikes! But I am Happy to report that am Alive and well.I also want to thank Kate for doing it with me. She payed for the Zip lining course for my Birthday gift. Thanks Kate...

Although Tage is way sick .The first thing we did when we got off the plane was go to the Urgent Care.Tage has an ear infection and an eye infection . Its been a wonderful day !! I love my children !!

Tage is now saying Momma ....Which is his first word and a wonderful mothers day gift to me. Jayden has been giving me kisses all day .Eddie was going to make me French toast

(my fav) this morning but, Honestly its been a crazy week and he was tired.So to his defense Cinnamon toast crunch will do Lol! I totally dont blame him .

At church on Mothers day its tradition to have the Mothers stand at the end of Sacrament meeting .And the youth go around passing out goodies to all the mothers .Usually its a flower or candy . Today it was candy and a little book . In the book was Questions they asked all the primary kids about their moms and it had all the kids answers . It was such a cute Idea and I loved it .

Before I was a Mom,
I never tripped over toys
or forgot words to a lullaby.
I never thought about immunizations.

Before I was a Mom,
I had never been puked on.
Pooped on.
Chewed on.
Peed on.
I had complete control of my mind
and my thoughts. And I slept all night.

Before I was a Mom,
I never held down a screaming child
so doctors could do tests, or give shots.
I never looked into teary eyes and cried.
I never got gloriously happy over a simple grin.
I never sat up late hours at night
watching a baby sleep.

Before I was a Mom,
I never held a sleeping baby simply because
I didn't want to put him down.
I never knew that something so small
could affect my life so much.
I never knew that I could love someone so much.
I never knew I would love being a Mom.

Before I was a Mom,
I didn't know the feeling of
having my heart outside my body
I didn't know how special it could feel
to feed a hungry baby.
I didn't know that bond
between a mother and her child.
I didn't know that something so small
could make me feel so important and happy.

Before I was a Mom,
I had never known the warmth,
the joy,
the love,

or the satisfaction of being a Mom.

AND, Now that I am a Mom,

I can say that I finally get it!

I get why My mother grounded me , why she wasn’t afraid if we were friends , She was my Mother first ,and a friend later. It’s because of her I now know how[ to nature my own. I guess the best Thank you I could give to my mother, is to have her watch me raise my own.

It’s because of her example I now know, how to fake my way through Motherhood.

It’s no simple task, but one I believe we were meant to do all along .

In (Moses chapter 4 – 26) it states And Adam called his wife’s name Eve, because she was the mother of all living; for thus have I, the Lord God, called the first of all women, which are many. Like Eve, our motherhood began before we were born. Just as worthy men were foreordained to hold the priesthood in mortality, righteous women were endowed pri-mortaly with the privilege of motherhood. Motherhood is more than bearing children. It is the essence of who we are as women. It defines our very identity, our divine nature, and the unique traits our Father gave us.

The First Presidency of the Church in Nov. 1942 called motherhood “the highest, holiest service . assumed by mankind.” prophets Teach the doctrine of motherhood, again and again. When we understand the magnitude of motherhood, it becomes clear why prophets have been so protective of woman’s most sacred role. For Satan has declared war on motherhood. He knows that those who rock the cradle can rock his earthly empire. And he knows that without righteous mothers loving and leading the next generation, the kingdom of God will fail. And as much love as I have for my Own Children. We have a Father in Heaven who knows and loves us TEN FOLD…..He has entrusted us as women with His children, and He has asked us to love them and help lead them safely past the dangers of mortality back home.

One young mother wrote that her anxiety tended to come on three fronts. One was that whenever she heard talks on LDS motherhood, she worried because she felt she didn’t measure up or somehow wasn’t going to be equal to the task. Secondly, she felt like the world expected her to teach her children reading, writing, interior design, Latin, calculus, and the Internet—all before the baby said something terribly ordinary, like “goo goo.” Thirdly, she often felt people were sometimes patronizing, almost always without meaning to be, because the advice she got or even the compliments she received seemed to reflect nothing of the mental investment, the spiritual and emotional exertion, the long-night, long-day, stretched-to-the-limit demands that sometimes are required in trying to be and wanting to be the mother God hopes she will be. But one thing, she said, keeps her going: “Through the thick and the thin of this, and through the occasional tears of it all, I know deep down inside I am doing God’s work. I know that in my motherhood I am in an eternal partnership with Him. I am deeply moved that God finds His ultimate purpose and meaning in being a parent, even if some of His children make Him weep.

I TO, have felt this type of anxiety, that has lead me to my knees in prayer. I called upon him asking, if I was doing enough? Was my child Happy, Happy to be living here? Happy to be my child. Me to be His Mom? I finished my prayer and went about folding laundry, Shortly after my prayer was answered by my Sweet Jayden as he walks in to where I was and he looked up at me with his big Brown eyes and says ‘Mom I love you, and I am Happy!

I believe that Motherhood enhances a women’s relationship with our Father in Heaven .And just as a child is dependent upon their caregiver to meet every nutritional, emotional and social need. I am more dependent upon my Father in Heaven to lead and guide me .

Elder Jeffery R. Holland states…Rely on Him. Rely on Him heavily. Rely on Him forever. And “press forward with steadfastness in Christ, having a perfect brightness of hope.” You are doing God’s work. You are doing it wonderfully well. He is blessing you and He will bless you, especially—when your days and your nights may be the most challenging. Like the woman who anonymously, meekly, perhaps even with hesitation and some embarrassment, fought her way through the crowd just to touch the hem of the Master’s garment, so Christ will say to the women who worry and wonder and sometimes weep over their responsibility as mothers, “Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole.” And it will make your children whole as well.

In the Book of Mormon we read about young men who were valiant, courageous, and strong. In (Alma 53:21) it states …Yea, They were men of truth and soberness, for they had been taught to keep the commandments of God and to walk uprightly before him. And in (Alma 56-48) And they rehearsed unto me the words of their Mothers, saying WE DO NOT DOUBT , OUR MOTHERS KNEW IT .

There is no doubt that taking on this role is a Sacrifice, but without sacrifice we wouldn’t KNOW THE JOY , Nor would we know the blessing .

There once was a man who was asleep one night in his cabin when suddenly his room filled with light and the Saviour appeared to him.

The Lord told him He had a work for him to do, and showed him a large rock explaining that he was to push against the rock with all his might. This the man did, and for many days he toiled from sunup to sundown; his shoulder set squarely against the cold massive surface of the rock, pushing with all his might. Each night the man returned to his cabin sore and worn out, feeling his whole day had been spent in vain.

Seeing that the man showed signs of discouragement, Satan decided to enter the picture - placing thoughts in the man's mind, such as ``Why kill yourself over this?, you're never going to move it!'' or ``Boy, you've been at it a long time and you haven't even scratched the surface!'' etc. giving the man the impression the task was impossible and the man was an unworthy servant because he wasn't moving the massive stone.

These thoughts discouraged and disheartened the man and he started to ease up in his efforts. ``Why kill myself?'' he thought. ``I'll just put in my time putting forth just the minimum of effort and that will be good enough.'' And this he did or at least planned on doing until, one day, he decided to take his troubles to the Lord.

``Lord,'' he said, ``I have labored hard and long in Your service, putting forth all my strength to do that which You have asked of me. Yet after all this time, I have not even budged that rock even half a millimeter. What is wrong? Why am I failing?''

To this the Lord responded compassionately, ``My friend, when long ago I asked you to serve Me and you accepted, I told you to push against the rock with all your strength and that you have done. But never once did I mention to you that I expected you to move it. At least not by yourself. Your task was to push. And now you come to Me, your strength spent, thinking that you have failed, ready to quit. But is this really so? Look at yourself. Your arms are strong and muscled; your back sinewed and brown. Your hands are calloused from constant pressure and your legs have become massive and hard. Through opposition you have grown much and your ability now far surpasses that which you used to have. Do the best you can through these years, but whatever else you do, cherish that role that is so uniquely yours and for which heaven itself sends angels to watch over you and your little ones. Husbands—especially husbands—as well as Church leaders and friends in every direction, be helpful and sensitive and wise. Remember, “To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.” Mothers, we acknowledge and esteem your faith in every footstep. Please know that it is worth it then, now, and forever. And if, for whatever reason, you are making this courageous effort alone, without your husband at your side, then our prayers will be all the greater for you, and our determination to lend a helping hand even more resolute.

I know , I absolutely know, that these doctrines about our divine role are true, and that when we understand they bring peace and purpose to all women . I am grateful for my mother .I am grateful for the opportunity to be a mother. I know that our Heavenly Father has a plan , and a plan , and another plan to back up that plan . He loves us and is always working in our favor . And for that we are never alone. I am so grateful for that.

Man Jayden is Talking like crazy all of the sudden .The kid is constantly talking . Eddie and I have to fight to get a word in to each other when he gets home ..Cause Jayden wants to talk to Dad too. Also he has started saying But why ? For everything I say . So I started calling him Jibber.... (but he hates it hen I call him that. )
His name is Jayden not JIBBER ....lol

p.s. I cant wait for May to be here already . So many good things are coming to Play that month .

We had a good time .Tage ate rocks.Zander was deep in thought & sat on top of a horse .

Jayden fed a calf and held a chicken . Mimi helped a stranger ,feed the animals, bought us ICE CREAM .

AND I well, I got attaked by a goat . It was all good fun . We want to make more cousins days like these.

We had a blast in our Front Row seats at the chase stadium .We ate Turkey Burgers and some toasted cinnamon almonds (mmm So Good ) .Drank our sodas and chatted the night away. It was wonderful !! Lets do it again Babe ....

This is so late in the game but Tage has reached his half way mark .

Stats.
* weighs 16 pounds.
* sits up ..( which is a fun New stage .Because you can put him in sinks , and give him a quick bath )
* Tage loves when I pull out a book and read to him . It really is a highlight in his day .
* loves Balls
* still teething his top Two teeth .
The right one is starting to show a little .
* Hates VEGGIES......
He gets goose bumps , gags ,full on gets the shivers . He cant even stomach some of them .He will get gas and Puck it out . I hope this changes when we switch from purees to whole foods .
* Sleeps on his stomach .
I put him in the crib on his back ,and I always find him on his stomach he just loves it .

It all started with Jayden after Valentines Day .He was really sick for like that whole next week .Then as you know Tage got it because I did a post about it.Then right before we left for Utah the boys seemed good NOT IN THE CLEAR , but good . To days of being in Utah it started with Jayden again and then Tage got real bad took him to see a doctor there .The doctor's there put tubes down his nose to drain all the snot.Gave us the second round of ANTIBIOTICS.Then again we get home boys seem better but still have stuff lingering around . Then BAM this last week has been so miserable .Tage started throwing up tons of mucus , High fever ,Rash ,No sleep at all day or night extremely fussy .So we took him in and got some blood work done and a chest X-ray .His white blood count was real high ( just means that he is fighting off a bad virus) His chest x ray was clear. Which is good means no pneumonia .They think he had ROSEOLA . Which would explain the high fever , rash , extreme fussiness. Mixed with an ear infection .So here we are on our 3rd round of ANTIBIOTICS. Tage is much better TODAY ,but its not over that's for sure . Honestly, it has been a long six weeks of sickness .I cant wait for this to all be over .

Love being outside and enjoying the Beautiful weather we've been having ..My mother gave me the trailer to pull the kids behind my bike for Christmas , and I am just now getting around to using it . When we got back from Utah the weather here is been perfect and we have literally been out on the bike everyday . The kids love this thing . I love that Tage loves to be picked up by Jayden . It makes me nervous , but Tage doesn't seem to mind , being pulled around like a little puppy.The proof is in the face .Their cute together & I love them ......

Congratulations to Mr & Mrs OSMOND

My sister got married on the 14th . It was a beautiful day . We were worried it was going to rain or snow ,but it never did(just a little drizzle) thank goodness! My sister looked so Beautiful in the sealing room . I have never seen her so pretty and so Happy . I am excited for them and there new life together. The wedding was fun . There were so many people we haven't seen in a long time . A lot of people from all over it was hard to sit and talk with them all .But either way it was great to see them and were glad they came.I will post some more pictures of the day when the professional ones are ready .

Its kinda crazy this world we live in ....
We took Jayden after Valentines day to the Dentist . It was his very first trip / check up EVER!!!!
I wanted to take him when he was 2 ,but everyone was telling me to Wait until he was at least 3 yrs old .So at the beginning of Jan Eddie worked on getting him on our dental plan . From day one Jayden has hated getting his teeth brushed .In fact we have to sit on him to get the job done :( So I was afraid of what it would be like .

That day EVERYTHING went perfect . Both boys fell asleep on our drive to the OFFICE that morning . So I was able to sign in and wait and read several magazines.Shortly before they called us back Jayden had woken up. And he was actually excited. We sat in the chair and the doctor came in and Looked in Jaydens mouth with his handy tools for like 3 min. Jayden was just chilling there. I was so Happy that he was being so good . The doctor looked up at me and said .OK ,he has like 6 or more cavity's and they need to be filled within the next couple of weeks or I will need to do root canals.
What the .......I mean I figured he might have one or two but 6 or more .....did he just say ROOT CANAL..I was going crazy in my mind thinking how in the heck does my 3 year old have that many.All be honest I was a little embarrassed.The doctor said that he rather do a cleaning while he is already under for filling the cavity's .So we were being sent home with work set for a later date. And sense we were going to be in Utah for my sisters wedding from the 5 -15 of March . It had to get done before then to avoid root canals he said..So he was trying to work out a time .Nothing seemed to work unless he came in on an off day of his to do it. So to me I thought wow, Jayden has a real issue going on in his mouth this guy is determined to get this done. Then they talked to me about price.After insurance it was going to cost us like Six Hundred something dollars.

So when Eddie got home from work I told him what was going on .And of course Eddie freaked .He didn't see the need to pay for the white fillings .When the insurance covers the silver fillings for free . He also didn't see the need in paying for laughing gas when he was going to be put out . WHY USE BOTH ? So he took the paper from me and called the Dentist Office the next day .To work out a different plan to lessen the bill. The office basically told Eddie that they don't do the silver fillings ,and good luck finding an OFFICE THAT DOES.So Eddie did indeed find an office that does the silver fillings but it was way far and it wasn't a Pediatric Dentist .Which meant that Jayden would not be put out for the procedure .I was not looking forward to this at all and then you add the fact that this child was going to be awake for all of it.I was mad at Eddie for being such a penny pincher......I mean its not like he was going to be there holding Jaydens hand .

Anyways to make a long story short I took Jayden to the new Dentist, and it turns out that Jayden had
NOT ONE SINGLE CAVITY , AND HIS TEETH ARE IN PERFECT HEALTH . I am telling you I am so mad at the Pediatric Dentist for wanting to fill cavity's that didn't even exist.I cant believe this !!I mean you trust that your in good hands when you go to any kind of doctor . But this is just CRAZY ....WHO CAN YOU TRUST ANY MORE ....The good thing is Jayden enjoyed himself and all of the sudden he loves to brush his teeth.It is no longer a fight . The end result only cost us 30 $ ....Thank you Hunny for being you :)

The kids got sick right after Valentines day .It started with Jayden and then Tage got it bad . He was so not himself. So I took him in and sure enough it was RSV. They both are better but not out of the woods just yet ! I hope that the cold weather on our trip up to Utah this weekend wont set them back .

Went to a Baptism yesterday & its been awhile since I've attended one. It got me thinking about my own Baptism. What a special day that was .Shortly after I was baptised the Orlando temple was being dedicated.I was so excited to go . Not only to see the inside but because I was able to skip school(lol) .Anyway, as I was walking through the Temple I remember feeling like Ive been here before, kinda like a Deja Vo
I felt like I belonged there .I remember touching my moms shoulder and telling here that I felt like I was at home, and that it would be nice to live here .It was in that moment that the Holy ghost spoke truth to me . A peaceful assurance that I was indeed at Home .In my Fathers home and that I am a child of god. I am so grateful to have been given the gift of the HOLY GHOST .The still small voice to linger with me always.

TAGE is five months today ....

He just gets more Handsome everyday. This last month was a little ruff .He is having a hard time teething the top & I think he is even getting the second bottom ones as well.Also what has made this month crappy for him .Is that I started foods the beginning of Jan .Well shortly after he started throwing up A LOT . Kept thinking he had the flu or some type of bug .So I took him to the Doctor .It wasn't the flu so she said to take him off foods , Just breast milk to feed him .So I did and no throwing up at all which is good ,and that means that it was the foods . Stinky thing is that he has been so cranky ,and wanting to breastfeed all of the time.He went from sleeping six hours in the night waking up once to eat and then going back to sleep.Then once I took him off the foods he was up in the night EATING EVERY TWO HOURS ...So he has been cranky from teeth and hunger, and I have been so tired.So Tuesday I said that's enough already and feed him some foods ....BAM TAGE IS BACK TO HIS NORMAL SELF....I mean Really such a difference in him .He even slept through the night last night.(here is to hoping that it sticks, and wasn't Random)But I cant complain to much because ALL this breastfeeding this month has made me lose some pounds, like past my pre baby weight.:) So I am excited about that .So here is to hoping his Teeth come fast .And now that I have him back on foods and he is much HAPPIER ABOUT THAT ,I hope he doesn't start the throwing up again ....

PEEK A BOO........
This is his favorite thing lately .
Peek a boo & Gym time.
He has a really hard time holding things and grabbing things.Which is weird cause he is 5 months old .You would think he would have it mastered by now .But he has like 6 trys before he can grab a hold of something, and when he does hold something it's not long before he losses grip.HE WANTS TO PLAY SO BAD . You can see it in his eyes when there are things in front of him or when he sees Jayden playing .He starts wiggling, moving and Drooling .When he realizes he cant play like he wants to he freaks....CRYING ,CRYING, CRYING . So Ive tried holding an object in front of him so it wont move on him .And a couple of times Jayden has SNAGGED the object from us ,AND TAGE FLIPPED OUT MAD..Its CRAZY FIGHTING OVER TOYS already.

Anyways so peek a boo for play time it is.But should I be conserned? Ithink by month 6-7 if this contunies I am going to say something to the Doctor.

For family night we usually watch the living scripturers with JAYDEN. Then talk about it afterwards.
Mainly because Jayden loves movies and it was the perfect way to get his attention .

But now that Jayden has been attending preschool, And also is in Sum Beams . We now feel like he is ready to actually pay attention and have a lesson .

So on Monday we did the Text Book Routine for FHE and it went really well .

and it was perfect activity for FEBRUARY . The month of Love ....

We opened with a prayer
Song: AS I HAVE LOVED YOU
DAD gave the lesson on Loving others
Popped in some V- day cookies
and wrote Love notes to each member of the family .

IT WAS SIMPLY PERFECTION ..............

I noticed the other day that we had only spent one full HOUR with Mr.Spilsbury on Friday .
HOW PATHETIC IS THAT ..... he left before anyone woke up.Then came home at 7 pm and everyone was in bed full on dreaming by 8 pm ......I wonder how often this really does occur.
realizing how valuable our time is.
We need Daddy home more often.

Is so proud of Jayden ..for wanting to be such a Helper lately.Things don't get done as fast ,and I could do it better myself .
BUT WHAT MOM WOULD I BE IF I DIDN'T EXCEPT THE HELP AND LET HIM LEARN FROM IT.Who cares if it takes all day .

Except maybe when he says his prayers.

Now , that we need to have a lesson on .His prayers are more like WISH LISTS.That keeps going and going .

9 to 18 months of contagiousness

I am so annoyed of Jaydens BUMPS.

It started out with two little Tiny bumps on his chest back in November.After a visit to Mimi's.

I took him to the doctors and he told me that its Contagious and there is no medicine to get rid of it,and that it last anywhere from 9-18 months.Now its spread all over his body .How do you control it, IF there is no medicine.UGH........
